The driver's take tips and people that are dropped off right at their vehicle usually tip. They will take you directly to your vehicle if you ask. They have a free shuttle system that picks up at certain locations, and will stop anywhere in the parking lot to pick folks up. I went this year to place my bet for the derby. I guess they also have a reasonably priced breakfest bar, but I checked the reviews over a year ago and reviews at that time were so so. Some other relatives have tried the late afternoon/night time buffet and said it wasn't very good. They ate at the NASCAR grill and said it was good food. My dad says they have free fountain drinks. They have a small high dollar room with slots that take $5 bills on up.

I'm not a gambler when it comes to casinos, but I like placing bets on the Kentucky Derby, so I go to this casino to place my bets. My parents go on average about once a month, sometimes twice. Have a safe trip to Indy and good luck if you stop at the casino!Ībout 14 months ago I finally went inside Indiana Live. Hopefully someone will comment that has been here more recently than I have since so much can change in the time since I was there. I hope to get back to that one sometime this summer. I really liked that casino and both that casino and Indiana Live have about 2000 slots. Not sure how long you'll be in Indianapolis but there is also another casino in Anderson, IN called Hoosier Park which is only about 25 NE of Indianapolis off I-69. One good thing is that it's very easy to get to and you can see it from the interstate.

I didn't eat there so can't personally comment on the food but a friend of mine said what she had was decent.

Size wise, it's bigger than Grand Vic and Belterra (any casino is bigger than Belterra.lol) but smaller than Hollywood. I guess I'm partial to my favorite casino in New Buffalo, MI.

I just wasn't impressed but you may enjoy it. No one seemed very friendly there either. I was only there for a few hours and slots were a little tight but maybe things have changed since then. It's very bright in there and I like the darker, cozier casinos. I didn't care for it but several people I know like it. I have been to Indiana Live once but it was also a couple years ago.
